The music or the money?
Cuz if someone tells me I should not pirate the music I get they are basically saying that I should be valuing the money involved in the music more than the music itself.
I will never value money more than music. That’s just common sense.
Musicians should not be writing music with the intention of having their fans give back. Fans give back by being fans and appreciating their music. Music is an art and artists should create with the intention of expressing themselves. Money does not need to be involved for that to happen.
If you believe in paying money for music at all times, you are not a true fan of music.

Just look at how many unknown bands there are out there. Many of them have rather large followings despite not being mainstream.
and yet you cannot find their albums in stores or on itunes. The only thing you can find there are mainstream artists WHO ALREADY HAVE A TON OF MONEY. When you pay for music you are only giving your money to somebody who doesn’t need it. Whether that be some well known mainstream artist or their greedy label executives.
