In these days the debate about alternatives to oil bring alive the social debate about nuclear power. Some think that nuclear power is a sustainable energy source that reduces carbon emissions and increases energy security by decreasing dependence on foreign oil but critics argue that nuclear power is a potentially dangerous. because need something that can churn out power between now and the time when we develop high-capacity batteries that can hold and disperse electricity when the sun is not shining and the wind is not blowing. plus, the navy has had safe nuclear power plants on ships for years and so has france and japan.
