I don’t see why I would go to Dunkin Donuts and expect great, rare, single estate coffee. I go to Dunkin Donuts for donuts. Cheap ones, in a paper box. I go to Starbucks to try and convince them to expand their coffee lines into less represented regions. Also, for soy chai. Not donuts.

Not to mention some of the best breakfast sandwiches to date.
Ask me to choose between McDonald’s floppy fries and the crisp refreshing flavor of BK’s french fries… The choice is easy.
Plus, BK has real ingredients in their food, whereas any time I’ve had McDonald’s, I felt as if I were munching down on paper towels than potatoes. +0 -

May 12th, 2008 at 6:32 amI used to go to McDonnalds more often because my daughter loves the toys they offer in kids menus but since I discovered “Angus Burger Menu” from BK and their french fries I almost quited going to McDonnals. The harder part is convincing my daughter, because BK´s toys in Kids menus are not as nice as McDonald´s.

May 8th, 2008 at 4:25 pmI can use it without taking a $4000 class, and still come out with about the same result. Also, I can save my files without crashing. And as the person above pointed out, I can create vectors without a plugin. Also, I can create font sets natively and export them to multiple formats without buying any extra software. I will admit that it isn’t as good with creating PDF forms though. I have to give that one to Adobe - although the newer versions keep strangling that ability….

Merely because one can do a thing, is not sufficient reason to say that he must do that thing, or even that he may do that thing. Society owes it to its own posterity to lay down the law: do not tamper with the stuff of life.
Besides: by what arrogance does anyone seriously believe that he can improve upon the Work of the Master?

May 6th, 2008 at 9:52 pmThroughout history, ignorance is the most constant cause of human stupidity. We can actually see a microcosm of this in todays culture. Children in modern america are raised with poor sexual education. Parents are not comfortable talking about this subject with their children, hence children are forced to live with their own imagination when it comes to this subject. This imagination often leads them astray. Many kids make it through this just fine, by first putting a toe in, then a foot, then a leg, and then perhaps jumping right in. It’s the kids who deliberately abstain until they’re 23 who have the real problems in their marriage later.
Likewise, there is no reason to maintain our own ignorance. Eventually, humans will be cloned. It’s not a question of if, only when. Therefore, the more knowledge and experience that can be gained incrementally and carefully now will prove invaluable in the future.

If the dead could be heard from, they would not hold this opinion, quite the contrary, and since they greatly outnumber the living, by majority we would reverse this idea and see that cloning humans is a perfectly legitimate waste of our time here on earth.

It is open earllier. It has iced coffee (cream, two equals) that I can not live without.

Dunkin’ Donuts all the way! I grew up in Massachusetts and that’s all we had back in the day. My sister and I even worked at Dunkin’ Donuts as teenagers! The coffee is great, I love the iced coffee, and I used to love their blueberry muffins when I worked there. Although the muffins aren’t as good as they used to be. And one more thing, they’re cheaper then Starbucks! I’m not paying $5.00 for a coffee!
