Human beings should not be cloned

Human clonation | Agree or disagree

Throughout history, ignorance is the most constant cause of human stupidity. We can actually see a microcosm of this in todays culture. Children in modern america are raised with poor sexual education. Parents are not comfortable talking about this subject with their children, hence children are forced to live with their own imagination when it comes to this subject. This imagination often leads them astray. Many kids make it through this just fine, by first putting a toe in, then a foot, then a leg, and then perhaps jumping right in. It’s the kids who deliberately abstain until they’re 23 who have the real problems in their marriage later.
Likewise, there is no reason to maintain our own ignorance. Eventually, humans will be cloned. It’s not a question of if, only when. Therefore, the more knowledge and experience that can be gained incrementally and carefully now will prove invaluable in the future.
Sex offenders´ identity ¿public or private?

Because there are human rigths and even this criminals are human, aren´t they?
Because there are different degrees of sexual offenders and all should not be blanketed under the same label. Take for instances Genarlow Wilson, 17, and his friend who had consensual oral sex from a 15 year old girl in Georgia. It is a felony despite being consensual because she was 15. Wilson did not take the plea bargain to be labeled as a sex offender for the rest of his life, like his friend did, and decided to go to trial. He sat in jail for 2 years until it was later reversed.

Sex Offenders
The University of Washington Police Department considers the protection of our community from sex offenders of significant importance. The objective of the 1990 Community Protection Act was to provide adequate notice to the community concerning sex offenders who are, or will be attending, working or residing on the campus, and to assist our community members in developing constructive plans to prepare themselves and their children for residing near released sex offenders.
Information that is relevant and necessary to protect the public and to counteract the danger created by a particular offender is released pursuant to RCW 4.24.550.
The extent and content of the disclosure of relevant and necessary information shall be related to:
* The risk posed by the offender to the community;
* The location where the offender resides, intends to reside, is regularly found, or is employed; and,
* The needs of affected community members for information that is necessary to protect their interests and safety.
The manner and mode of dissemination is restricted by the standards set forth by the legislature and interpreted by the Washington State Supreme Court in State v. Ward, 123 Wn. 2d 488, (1994) and its progeny.
#God so if there are several degrees, their identity should be notified according their offence. Simple as that.

#Kim L.: You must be a sad person, not enjoying living and not knowing what dignity means.
The suicide is a coward act.

Because it´s our life.
There are four possible situations. Imagine a patient writhing with insufferable pain.
1. The patient’s life is not at risk if she is not medicated with painkillers (she risks dying if she is medicated)
2. The patient’s life is not at risk either way, medicated or not
3. The patient’s life is at risk either way, medicated or not
4. The patient’s life is at risk if she is not medicated with painkillers

Hey Francoise, read a bit about other people´s lives. Be brave and happy after this:
# Francoise, not all are privileged to live a happy life like yourself. Why would you care if someone chooses what to do with their life? It’s sorta like gay-rights. Why do Christians care about what goes on behind closed doors?

Human cloning can bring no good to the society that attempts it (or even allows it). It contributes to de-humanization–the notion that human life is no more dear than any other form of life, and is reducible to a mere commodity.
Merely because one can do a thing, is not sufficient reason to say that he must do that thing, or even that he may do that thing. Society owes it to its own posterity to lay down the law: do not tamper with the stuff of life.
Besides: by what arrogance does anyone seriously believe that he can improve upon the Work of the Master?
