CS3 is free!
--2 ¡Because it’s new!
+0 new versions are always better
+1 I think upgrading to a new version is not an option. If we did not upgrade ourselves step by step, we would have to make extra effort when another new version is out. It’s too late when we find that we’re outdated. Same goes to the quote, we stay young as we keep learning, grows old and outdate only when you stop.

design better products and faster.
+2 solid works is user friendly if you know windows then you already know how to use SWX. SWX is 60% right click acess. If you are going 3d SWX is the way to go visit the website find your local reseller and set up a demo they are free without commitment. so set something up you wont be dissappointed. plus inventore hasnt been around that long so SWX has maturity they develop products that inventor hasnt thought about

because it is light! and can create vector
--1 I can use it without taking a $4000 class, and still come out with about the same result. Also, I can save my files without crashing. And as the person above pointed out, I can create vectors without a plugin. Also, I can create font sets natively and export them to multiple formats without buying any extra software. I will admit that it isn’t as good with creating PDF forms though. I have to give that one to Adobe - although the newer versions keep strangling that ability….

nice for explore everything about graphic design and allow us to create something that we can’t imagine before
+1 It is the graphics industry standard. Easy to use (no classes needed…I am completely self taught). Most excellent online community to help with anything from tips to actual design.
+1 Adobe all the way. Corel is the red headed stepchild when it comes to Adobe. No offense to red headed step children of course. It is too much of THE standard and feature you can’t beat Adobe. And now with Macromedia as part of the team, well, forget about it!
