Web design | External links Dofollow vs. Nofollow

“nofollow” is a got way to make comment spam not paying back.
Starting the day I did nofollow on comments, spam went down.

+0 Where do you get your news? Traditional vs. New media

Suggested by Rachel S.
I prefer New Media couse they offer not only written news, but audio and video tributes and possibility to have further discussions on the topic
+0 New media is at your fingertips whenever you want it, 24/7 you can get to the information you need to know.
+0 New media is trustworthy. Traditional media isn’t. New media has scooped traditional media dozens of times–and worse than that, has caught them out in lies.
+0 New Media makes it easier to create, distribute and archive media, I just crammed my entire Music collection into 3 DVD’s it is amazing really.
+0 New media is the way to go. That and Indies Media Blogs. At Streetbloggers.com
+0 Internet: Almost in an instant I can find out whats going on down my street or on the other side of the world.
+0 Sure, you can’t drag your desktop to the can. But you can bring your internet-capable phone!

+0 Web Graphics | Photoshop vs. Fireworks

Suggested by photoshopextremo.com
Fireworks was created for this reason, therefore is much better than Photoshop in craeting graphics for web designing.
+1 Fireworks optimizes images better for the web if you do apples to apples. In other words, if you set the optimization settings to 80% in both programs for JPG’s Fireworks shaves off much more.

Safari isn’t Linux compatible.Opera has a better interface.
+0 Opera is simply the best browser available… Incredible speed, low memory consumption, I can easilly have more than 100 tabs opened at a time… Many unique features that make tweb browsing a really enjoyable experience

I think it’s done primarily so that spammers don’t get the back links they are trying for. But as you have found Wordpress does have a widget that will allow site owners to allow the google to follow the link provided

A free back link is a good incentive for participation isn’t it?

I’m slanting both ways here. If it was done as meant to be dofollow FTW!
But since there’s a lot of comment abuse (not spam) as example, leave a legit comment, but use a keyword and a link to your company instead of a real name…
But for “legit” comments etc. yes, dofollow is a great incentive!

I think it should be dofollow. People need to be rewarded for post. It doesnt affect reg people just search engines.

I’m going to put the badge on my site too. I already follow links but I might as well advertise it too.
