Microsoft Windows Vista

  1. Anonymous opinó:

Vista worked for me, however, I am REALLY liking this Windows 7 64-bit!

  2. Diyet [5] opinó:

I have a HP dv6000T. I bought it to use with one of my clients but it does not have Vista. I honestly was not impressed with it.

Is it fine to decline both?
    (I’d go for debian…)

9 reasons for

Microsoft Windows XP

  1. Akvaryum [5] opinó:

I have not heard that about Vista I think I’ll do some checking to see what I come up with.. I have to save soem cash and downgrade to XP! All because Microsoft wanted to prentend to be a MAC.

  2. Cool [2] opinó:

XP may be less secure, but it runs faster, crashes less, takes up less RAM and CPU, more intuitive, things are where you expect them to be (As per familiarity with older Windows OS’s), boots up quickly shuts down quickly. Now just reverse the above for Vista and add on the fact that Vista isn’t compatible with a lot of software and you get an Idea of what I think of it

  4. nusato opinó:

Vista is a steaming pile of rat droppings. The only thing good about it is that it’s still not Windows Me. XP is a lot better, and MS needs to patch UAC so that it works properly. What the hell kind of security is that supposed to be anyway? They’ve had YEARS to get this right, there are HUNDREDS of linux distros they could have taken as a model. Instead, they went with the most useless and annoying implementation, and then didn’t even check to see if it worked correctly. (it doesn’t; it won’t elevate automatically for some things, like say…. Windows Updates. No joke.)

  5. whataslacker [5] opinó:

Used both and Visat sucks. Now I need to downgrade to XP on my laptop.

  6. whataslacker [5] opinó:

Vista is horrible I use both and if I had a choice to have XP in my new laptop I would have. Now I have to save soem cash and downgrade to XP! All because Microsoft wanted to prentend to be a MAC.

XP all the way… I witnessed a vista crash where the admin user account got deleted! Fortunately the guy had a disk image.
