Vista is horrible I use both and if I had a choice to have XP in my new laptop I would have. Now I have to save soem cash and downgrade to XP! All because Microsoft wanted to prentend to be a MAC.

Vista is a steaming pile of rat droppings. The only thing good about it is that it’s still not Windows Me. XP is a lot better, and MS needs to patch UAC so that it works properly. What the hell kind of security is that supposed to be anyway? They’ve had YEARS to get this right, there are HUNDREDS of linux distros they could have taken as a model. Instead, they went with the most useless and annoying implementation, and then didn’t even check to see if it worked correctly. (it doesn’t; it won’t elevate automatically for some things, like say…. Windows Updates. No joke.)

I have not heard that about Vista I think I’ll do some checking to see what I come up with. I have a HP dv6000T. I bought it to use with one of my clients but it does not have Vista. I honestly was not impressed with it.
