I prefer digital ebooks, why spend money and trees to make printed books

0 I really like to collect Print books, but first of all they’re more expensive, and secondly you can’t just throw away print book if you don’t like it.

0 You need one small reader rather than tons of books and tons of dust on them.
Actually, I’ve got some 10000 printed books in my apartment collected by my dad – it’s awful, they take more place than I do:)
And e-books are cheaper (actually free if you know where to search).

Because a print book is a tangible thing i can hold in my hands and look at, i don’t have to deal with lagging or slow loading, and page turning is just so much more suspenseful than scrolling.

and you get to immerse yourself in the whole “book-reading” experience.
the scent and texture of the books pages, the fact that you can bring it anywhere (no wifi limitations!:p), and the fact that it’s a great conversation starter.

There is something about the way you feel when you read them. you can smell them. With print books there is more sense of progression because you actually have pages to turn. With an ebook, yes your still making progress, but there isn’t any physical evidence that your getting anywhere. Also print books are made to curl up on the couch with.
